For an undisturbed wilderness adventure, visit Atikaki Provincial Wilderness Park where guides are available. This amazing wild and undeveloped park gives a true taste of Manitoba's great outdoors and give you the opportunity to wonder at ancient rock paintings along the way, their meanings unsolved to this day. Another interesting park is Nopiming Provincial Park known as the "Entrance to the wilderness" and is absolutely marvellous for anglers where they can fish for pike, walleye, smallmouth and bass. Or if its lakes you adore, then this part of Manitoba is scattered with hundreds of crystal clear lakes that are rimmed by granite rock and sheltered by stands of black spruce, birch and poplar and where you can meet the local permanent residents, moose, bear, woodland caribou and bald eagles.
