Pilot Whales are often spotted nearby in the Strait of Canso.

Our knowledge of the island is extensive as we have lived here all our lives. We have many planned day trips from which you may choose. Trips include touring the Cabot Trail, the Ceilidh Trail, Fortress Louisburg, Baddeck, the Bras D'or Lakes, Isle Madame, Sydney, Glace Bay, Marble Mountain, Mabou, Cheticamp, whale-watching cruises, sailing trips, a visit to Rita's Tea Room, the Smoke House Restaurant and many more.

Eagles are common in the River Denys area.

MacKenzie House is located at the beginning of the Ceilidh Trail

Both trails have a history of friendly folks, fantastic cuisine and good times.

Every Tuesday brings another Ceilidh at the Creamery, located
