General Description
Hilltop Acres is located on a spacious property referred to in the Selected Journals of L. M. Montgomery as the home of Edward and Polly England. Their daughter Edith developed a very close friendship with Lucy Maud, who often visited here on the property, in a house previously built on the same foundation.
Guests in the "new" house built in 1932 can enjoy a delightful Queen bed guestroom with en suite bath. The two-bedroom suite with double beds is ideal for a party of 3 or 4. The private bathroom for this suite has a whirlpool tub with separate shower.
Common areas include a large living room where you are invited to relax and plan your next activity, a dining room leading out onto the secluded deck and gazebo, a second-storey balcony overlooking scenic Goodwood River and Malpeque Bay, and spacious lawns with garden swings. Relax with a complimentary cold drink or a cup of tea or coffee before retiring for the night.
