General Description
Come and enjoy a fun filled holiday on our active 520 acre dairy and beef farm or stay in one of our cozy cottages nestled in the picturesque rural setting of Cavendish. Our tourist home and cottages offer you a panoramic view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. You're just a five minute stroll to the beach and two kilometers from the famous "Anne of Green Gables" house and golf course, restaurants and stores. Guests are invited to wander around the farm. Daily, you'll see the cows coming from the green pastures to the barn to be milked. Enjoy watching the milkings, the beef cattle, the barn cats, and Benji our dog. If you're lucky you may see a calf being born. Our cozy tourist home will accommodate your many needs. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Rooms vary with double beds, double and single, and two double beds. Bathrooms are shared. Guests are welcome to join us and other guests for a friendly get together in our family rooms. Available to you are TVs and VCRs. Breakfast is available upon request at an extra charge. Our seven two bedroom cottages and the three bedroom executive one offers you all the comforts of home. Each cottage has two double beds and a cot. The three bedroom executive cottage has 2 double beds and a queen size bed plus two full baths, fireplace, laundry facilities and phone. All cottages have patios where you may sit and enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunsets over the ocean. Cottages have color cable TVs, VCR, radios, electric heat, propane barbecues, bedding, 4 piece bath linens, dishes, microwave cooking utensils, and play ground equipment. We are members of the Cavendish & Area Tourist Association and PEI Farm Vacations and have graded accommodations. Visa and Mastercard accepted.
