General Description

* Suncatcher B&B is a four-level split house. The B&B rooms are the entire upper level which allows for two large airy rooms each with a spacious four-piece ensuite. For those who have difficulty with long flights of stairs, there are only seven steps up from the main level which consists of the dining room, living room, and kitchen.
* We have a large backyard where, weather permitting, you can relax in our gazebo and listen to the many birds who return each spring to inhabit Gerry's collection of birdhouses. Our flower gardens are an ongoing project which are added to yearly.
* Featuring the stained glass artistry of Gerry Mailloux; on-site workshops are available. Make your stay at the Suncatcher B&B ever more memorable by crafting your own artistic keepsakes!

Truro is known as the “Hubtown” because of its original location and importance in Nova Scotia’s railroad system. Victoria Park, The Cobequid Trails, The Truro Tree statues The Colchester Historical Society Museum, The Little White Schoolhouse Museum, The Glooscap Heritage Centre, The Marigold Cultural Centre, The Truro Raceway, the Golden Age Antique Car Show, the Dutchie Mason Blues Festival, The week-long Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition are some of the attractions/experiences in the area.
