Perched on a cliff 300 feet above Cufra Inlet on Thetis Island, B.C., and looking west to the mountains of Vancouver Island, CUFRA CLIFFS BED & BREAKFAST has a glorious "on top of the world" setting, and a pervading sense of peace. One of the smaller southern Gulf Islands (in terms of both size and population), Thetis is an ideal retreat. Peace and quiet, delightful rural scenes, beautiful shoreline, crystal clear water, wonderful views - all this within reasonable reach of urban centres on southern Vancouver Island or the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. And with direct floatplane service from Vancouver, visitors from all over the world can find their way to Thetis. ----------------------------------- The dining area of the cottage is in a nest of windows, looking west from the north end of Thetis, over to the hills and mountains of Vancouver Island. The sunsets are magnificent! The cottage is built on an open plan, with the living and dining areas and the kitchenette all part of the main room. The floor and trim were made with wood cut from the property The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, and cooling breezes from the north in summer. The bathroom (with shower) is charmingly cool and clean. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Not the least of the attractions of this delightful spot, is a hot-tub built out at the edge of the cliff, where you can luxuriate in the midst of heart-catching natural beauty. ------------------------------------------------------------------ INFORMATION FOR OUR VISITORS Some points about Thetis Island to be aware of: Despite its small size, Thetis has an excellent ferry schedule, and regular float plane service from Vancouver to Thetis Island Marina.
