Ambleside Lodge Bed & Breakfast is located in the community of Canmore, Alberta, in full view of Canada's spectacular Rocky Mountains. The interior is predominately pine and showcases a unique, spectacular fireplace, (one of the largest in Canmore boasting 18 tons of bedrock stone supported by 4 tons of cement). This feature is central of a spacious lounge area, which is comfortable and cozy. Just 1.5 hours drive from Calgary International Airport. Ambleside Lodge is only 15 minutes from the world-renowned town of Banff, situated in the heart of historical Banff National Park and is less than a one-hour drive from the equally famous Lake Louise. There is modern audio and visual systems installed and the host has a reasonably varied collection of music suitable to cater for most tastes. Ambleside Lodge B&B is only five a five minute stroll to Canmore's main street with its excellent shopping, restaurants and museums and other points of interest. When you stay with the Crawford's you can expect, and will receive, "Hospitality at its Best".
