Running along the Fraser River is Maple Ridge, with more than 100 miles of horse trails winding through the area, you’ll be spoilt for choice of beautiful scenery.

Visit the Golden Ears Provincial Park, a huge park just north of Maple Ridge with excellent fishing, swimming, hiking and biking. Kanaka Creek Regional Park has wonderful forests, meadows and marshes with caneoing and kayaking and there is the spectacular Cliff Falls. Native Indians were catching salmon on this creek 4,000 years ago and today you can visit the salmon hatchery. Named by the Fraser River delta on which it lies, Delta lies, in a fertile oasis of farmland and wetlands.
